Green Country Corners

Hi, I am Darci. I started Green Country Corners over 20 years ago. We are located in northern Vermont growing zone 4. We grow around 4000 perennials, annuals, vegetables, and hanging baskets each year. A part of our business is flower farming. We grow local fresh cut flowers to sell as bouquets. 

My husband and I both work outside of our home. We try to keep a work-home life balance. Our daughter helps at the greenhouse and with flower farming when she can .

Someone once asked me how I got into growing vegetables, annuals, and perennials. I would have to say it was my father. He loved to grow a huge garden every year. My father and Mother would can a lot of tomatoes when I was a kid, but they would always give a lot of tomatoes and peppers and cucumbers to family and friends whoever needed them. Each year I plant a vegetable garden so my father can watch it grow from the heavens. Miss you Dad.
